ANNUAL REPORTS OF MUSEUM PROJECTS AT ARCS
On November 19, 2015 ARCS hosted its fifth annual reports of the Site Preservation, Conservation and Museum Enhancement (SPCME) projects which received funding in 2014-2015. The event was attended by many scholars, museum directors and specialists, archaeologists, restorers, university professors, civil servants and guests. Each project leader delivered an oral presentation summarizing the annual activities within the purview of the project. Lively discussions followed each presentation addressing various approaches towards site preservation and museum development. Since this was the last cycle of the ARCS SPCME program, which has been one of the most successful venues for evaluating and funding museum projects in Bulgaria since 2010, we hope to reinstate the program in the near future.
