2014-15 “Site Preservation, Conservation and Museum Enhancement” Program
The American Research Center in Sofia is proud to announce the beginning of six projects within our “Site Preservation, Conservation and Museum Enhancement” Program. The purpose of this important program is to help preserve the cultural heritage of Bulgaria and present the past in a meaningful way to the public. Each year, administrators and employees of museums and institutes may apply for SPCME grants. Applications are judged by a committee based in the USA in conjunction with The Field Museum of Chicago. ARCS Archaeology Program Officer, Emil Nankov, oversees the progress of the successful projects. Since 2010, 13 SPCME projects have been completed or in progress in all corners of Bulgaria: click here for list.
