While ARCS closed its doors during the Holidays, its Staff has been busy in the USA. Eric De Sena has been in New York, meeting with Todor Petev, Director of the US Office, and visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art where Petev and De Sena are planning a special visit on January 7. Between Jan 2 and 6, ARCS Trustees Nora Dimitrova and Glenn Bugh will attend the AIA/APA Meetings in Seattle together with De Sena, and Archaeology Programs Officer Emil Nankov. The four ARCS representatives will be involved in a number of meetings and an outreach event. Once back in the NY area, on Jan 8, De Sena will lead a discussion about archaeology in the Balkans for 250 6th Grade students at the Somers Middle School.
